Terms & Conditions
Bite Club is a service provided by Plumfield Dental Practice Ltd. By attending Bite Club and paying the assessment fee, you agree to the terms below.
1. About Bite Club
a. Bite Club offers dental assessments focused on a single problem.
b. The service is operated by Plumfield Dental Practice Ltd (“we” or “us”).
2. Age and Consent
a. There is no minimum age.
b. If you are under 16, someone with parental responsibility must attend to give consent for the assessment and any treatment.
3. Appointments and Payment
a. Bite Club runs on a first-come, first-served basis Monday to Friday, 9:30 am–4 pm.
b. Assessment fee: £90 per visit, payable by cash or card.
c. When you arrive, we will review your medical history form to confirm that we can see you and, if there is availability at the time you arrive, will give you an estimated waiting time.
d. Payment is taken once you accept these Terms and Conditions.
e. The assessment fee is for the dentist’s time and advice. No refunds are given, even if no treatment is provided.
4. Scope of Assessment
a. We provide an assessment only, not a full dental examination.
b. The dentist will focus on the issue you describe and is not responsible for other conditions that may affect your overall dental health.
c. If you wish to address a different problem, you must book another visit and pay a new assessment fee.
5. Treatment and Guarantees
a. After the assessment, the dentist will explain treatment options, estimated costs, and whether the treatment is temporary or intended as a permanent solution.
b. Temporary treatments are not guaranteed and may fail at any time.
c. Composite fillings are guaranteed for two months.
i. If a composite filling fails within two months, you may return, pay a new assessment fee, and—if the dentist confirms it is the same filling and the same surfaces—we will replace it free of charge.
ii. Any additional surfaces or further treatment are chargeable.
d. All treatments are provided with reasonable skill and care, in line with our professional obligations, but unless expressly stated, no additional guarantee is given.
6. Prescriptions
a. You are responsible for paying any pharmacy charges.
7. Records, Confidentiality, and Privacy
a. Your medical history form and clinical records are part of your dental record and are kept in line with UK regulations (CQC and GDC requirements).
b. Records are stored securely and retained for at least 11 years for adults and until age 25 for children, unless regulations require longer.
c. Your information is handled in accordance with Plumfield Dental Practice’s privacy policy.
8. After Your Visit
a. Once the agreed assessment and any treatment are complete, your course of care is closed, and you are discharged.
b. To receive further treatment at a later date, you must start a new assessment, complete a new medical history form, and pay the assessment fee again.
c. If we believe you require urgent or ongoing care beyond Bite Club, we will advise you and, where appropriate, signpost or refer you to another service.
9. Limitation of Liability
a. Our responsibility to you is limited to the cost of the assessment and any treatment you have paid for.
b. We are not liable for problems that arise from information you did not disclose on your medical history form or for issues outside the agreed treatment.
c. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
By attending Bite Club and paying the assessment fee, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
